Thunder Hill

A Big Impact Built On Skill And Production

Position: Forward
Shoots: Left
Hometown: Six Nations, Ontario
OSL Team: Six Nations Rivermen
Junior Teams: Six Nations Arrows, St. Catharines Athletics
College: Onondaga Community College

Thunder Hill has given Ontario Series Lacrosse fans plenty of reasons to pay attention. The Six Nations Rivermen forward has earned back-to-back league Most Valuable Player awards, adding the scoring title in 2026. His success has made him an excellent example of the talent competing in the OSL.

Hill’s game is built around his ability to produce offensively. A left-handed forward, he can finish opportunities himself while also helping create them for others. His numbers tell the story of a player who contributes as both a scorer and a distributor.

Early Years

A product of Six Nations, Hill developed through a community with a rich lacrosse tradition. His junior career included time with the Six Nations Arrows before a move to the St. Catharines Athletics in 2024. Those experiences provided the foundation for his transition into senior lacrosse.

Climbing The Ladder

Across the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Junior A regular seasons, Hill accumulated 187 points in 59 games. His final junior summer included 52 points with the Arrows and another 29 with St. Catharines.

Hill also took his game to the field at Onondaga Community College. Listed as an attackman/midfielder on the Lazers’ 2023 roster, he gained college experience alongside his box lacrosse development. He also represented Haudenosaunee at the 2022 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship, recording five goals and six assists in two appearances.

Making His Mark In The OSL

Hill made an immediate impression with the Rivermen in 2025, scoring 41 goals and adding 34 assists for 75 points in 16 regular-season games. He finished second in league scoring and earned the OSL’s Most Valuable Player award.

He followed that with another outstanding season in 2026. In 11 regular-season appearances, Hill collected 22 goals and 34 assists for 56 points, averaging just over five points per game. This time, he claimed both the scoring championship and his second consecutive MVP award.

The balance in those totals deserves attention. Following a 41-goal season, Hill returned with another productive campaign in which his assists outnumbered his goals. Opponents had to account for more than his shot.

Experience Beyond The OSL

Hill has continued to test himself in other box lacrosse environments, including Major Series Lacrosse with the Cobourg Kodiaks and the Arena Lacrosse League with the Six Nations Snipers.

Over parts of four ALL seasons through 2026, he recorded 49 goals and 56 assists for 105 points in 19 regular-season games. His senior résumé also includes an overtime winner with Cobourg, providing another example of his ability to contribute when an opportunity presents itself.

Beyond The Floor

Hill’s time at Onondaga also brought recognition beyond his scoring totals. The college’s athletics banquet records list him as its 2023 male Athlete of the Year. It adds another accomplishment to a résumé that spans junior, college and senior competition.

Gary Groob’s Take

What stands out about Thunder Hill is the consistency of his production. Scoring goals is one part of his contribution, but his ability to help others produce is just as important.

Back-to-back MVP awards and a scoring championship speak to the impact he has made with the Rivermen. His accomplishments also give fans a good reason to follow the OSL closely. There is considerable talent in this league, and Thunder Hill has earned his place among its stars.
