Zach Terry Scores Four, Andy Campbell scores Three As Bengals Win Big In Season Opener

The Ennismore James Gang (0-2) traveled west to the Dave Andreychuk Arena in Hamilton, Ontario to face the Hamilton Bengals in Ontario Series Lacrosse action Saturday night.
The goaltending match-up had Andrew Kidd in net for the James Gang facing Sam Haines in net for the Bengals.
A fairly even first period saw Hamilton get out to a 2-0 lead. Zach Terry led the way with a goal and assist in the frame. In the second period, Ennismore brought the game within one on a goal from Kyle Morely-Whitten, but the rest of the stanza would be all Bengals. Five unanswered goals, including two from Zach Terry and Andy Campbell blew the game wide open. The third period saw Hamilton continue their dominance scoring another three unanswered goals, including Zach Terry's fourth of the game. Tempers boiled over with Ennismore's Bryce Dennis and Hamilton's Nile Cyr going toe to toe in a tilt. Hamilton comes away with a convincing 10-1 victory.
The game was tight early as both teams traded chances through a fairly even opening frame, but the Hamilton Bengals capitalized on their opportunities to grab a 2-0 lead after one. Zach Terry paced Hamilton early with a goal and an assist in the period.
The James Gang cut the deficit to one early in the second on a goal from Kyle Morely-Whitten, but that would be as close as they would get. The Bengals responded with five unanswered goals to take full control of the contest, with Terry and Andy Campbell each striking twice in the middle frame to break the game open.
Hamilton kept their foot on the gas in the third period, adding three more unanswered markers, including Terry’s fourth goal of the night. Emotions finally boiled over late in the game as Bryce Dennis and Nile Cyr dropped the gloves in a spirited tilt. The Bengals closed things out in dominant fashion, coming away with a convincing 10-1 victory.

Hamilton got on the board first with Andy Campbell converting a Zach Terry feed at 5:10, followed by Terry himself finishing a Jaden Patterson pass from in close at 8:58.

Second Period:
Ennismore got on the board when Kyle Morely-Whitten found the back of the net off an Adam Churchill pass at 1:25, but Zach Terry would reply for the Bengals with a sidearm snipe off a Jaden Patterson pass at 5:06.
Nile Cyr would increase the Hamilton lead an a great individual effort, unassisted, at 7:56, followed by Andy Campbell with a power-play marker from the top of the crease off a Tye Argent pass at 9:11.
A pair of late goals would give the Bengals a stranglehold of the game. Zach Terry finished a Jaden Patterson feed at 18:53, followed by a buzzer beater from Andy Campbell, scoring at 19:59.

Third Period:
Tye Argent opens the scoring for the Bengals with a low to.low laser off a Jaden Patterson pass at 2:52.
Tempers flared with Bryce Dennis and Nile Cyr dropping the gloves in a solid tilt.
Zach Terry scored his fourth of the game converting a Jaden Patterson pass at 8:34, followed by Cody Innes finishing yet another Jaden Patterson feed at 18:45.
