The Owen Sound North Stars (4-8-1) visited the Clearview Crushers (3-8-1) in Ontario Series Lacrosse action Saturday afternoon at the Stayner Arena in Stayner, Ontario.

The North Stars were coming off a defensive gem against Ennismore last week, winning 9-5.  Led by Jordan Caskenette (17g,26a), Brody Caskenette (12g,15a), Gordie Power (13g,13a) and Jake McNabb (8g,11a) this team has gotten stronger as the year has worn on.

The Clearview Crushers are much better than their record shows, dropping a couple of one goal heartbreakers to Brooklin.  Led by Gareth Haigh (22g,25a), Graham Bergsma (4g,22a), and Angus Rawding (11g,11a), this team can battle with anyone in the league.

The goaltending match-up had Ethan Woods in net for Owen Sound facing Jackson Hainer in net for Clearview.

Special teams was the order of the day, as both teams converted on their chances.  Owen Sound scored four power-play goals as well as two shorthanded goals.  Clearview was equally as impressive with their special teams scoring four of their own on the power-play.
