The Hamilton Bengals (5-5) traveled to face the Owen Sound NorthStars (7-5) in Ontario Series Lacrosse action Sunday evening at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Arena in Owen Sound, Ontario.

The goaltending match-up had Aden Walsh in net for the Bengals facing Andrew Kidd in net for the NorthStars.

Hamilton showed tremendous resilience Sunday night, overcoming multiple deficits to stun the Owen Sound NorthStars 9-8 in a thrilling Ontario Series Lacrosse matchup. Trailing 7-5 entering the third period and still down by two with less than six minutes remaining, the Bengals refused to back down. Jaden Patterson led the comeback with a four-goal performance, while Carson Moyer scored twice, including the game-winning goal with just 45 seconds left, as Hamilton completed an incredible four-goal third-period rally.

Owen Sound appeared to be in control for much of the evening after building an early three-goal lead behind two first-period goals from Cohen Jennings and a six-point night from Cam Sanderson. Each time Hamilton pulled within a goal, the NorthStars had an answer, but the Bengals saved their best for last. Andrew Horsely sparked the late comeback before Patterson tied the game with 1:18 remaining, setting the stage for Moyer's brilliant individual effort that capped a dramatic comeback victory and earned Hamilton a hard-fought 9-8 road win.
