The Clearview Crushers (2-3) visited the Ennismore James Gang (0-5) in Ontario Series Lacrosse action Saturday evening at the Robert E. Young Recreational Complex.

Both teams have been struggling to start the year, and were hoping to get on track in this game.  Clearview has been led by Gareth Haigh (6g,9a), Graham Bergsma (1g,10a), Angus Rawding (6g,3a) and Braydon Hickey (7g,2a).  Ennismore has been led by Aaron Bradshaw (2g,4a), Holden Lowes (2g,2a) and Nick Andreoli (2g,2a).

The goaltending match-up had Jackson Brown in net for Clearview facing Andrew Kidd in net for Ennismore.

Although the Crushers got up by three quickly, Ennismore fought back to be only down by one after one period.  The James Gang tied the game early in the second on an Adam Churchill goal, however, Clearview was able to get rolling again.  A four goal run thanks in part to a pair of goals from Cole Hanrahan had them jump out to a 7-3 lead after two.

The third period saw a lot of end to end action, but didn't yield any scoring until the half way point. Curtis Romanchych increased the Crushers lead to 8-3 while shorthanded. Ennismore tried to get back in the game with Nick Webb and Nick Andreoli scoring, but it was too steep a hill to climb.  Clearview came away with the 8-5 victory.
