Rivermen Put League On Notice With Dominant Win Over Ennismore

The Ennismore James Gang (2-12) traveled west to face the Six Nations Rivermen (10-3) in Ontario Series Lacrosse action Sunday afternoon at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Haggersville, Ontario.

The goaltending match-up had Ethan Harwood in net for the James Gang facing Elan Henhawk in net for the Rivermen.

Although Ennismore scored first, a seven goal barrage in the spand of just under 17:00 changed the entire complexion of the game.  Led by Greg Elijah-Brown (3g,0a), Thunder Hill (3g,1a), and David Anderson (2g,3a), the Six Nations Rivermen took charge of the game scoring early and often.

Although the James Gang had a bit of success in the second period, the majority of the frame had Six Nations keeping control.  A bright spot for Ennismore was the play of Ethan Harwood in net for the James Gang, who looked good facing a lot of rubber in the game.

As the game came down the stretch, the Riverman showed that they could play disciplined as well.  Playing keep away for the majority of the third period, Six Nations was able to chew up a lot of clock.  The Rivermen came away with the 13-4 victory.
