Rivermen Finish Round Robin Strong
The Six Nations Rivermen (2-1) faced the Saskatchewan Roadrunners (0-3) in day three round robin action at the President's Cup Tuesday evening.
The goaltending match-up had Tye Belanger in net for the Rivermen facing Louden Choptuik in net for Saskatchewan.
While Saskatchewan battled valiantly, the Six Nations Rivermen were just to powerful to contain for sixty minutes. Goalie Louden Choptuik was exceptional in net for Saskatchewan facing 79 shots in the game.
The Rivermen played a very sportsmanlike game with the Roadrunners throughout the affair.
Thunder Hill (5g,4a) led the way for the Rivermen, with Ross Hill (3g,4a), Zach Herreweyers (2g,3a), David Anderson (1g,3a), and Tyler Brown (2g,1a) also adding support.
For Saskatchewan Austin Shanks (2g,3a) led the way, with Stepan Friedl (2g 2a), Vincent Cree (2g,0a), Lundyn Kups (1g,2a), and Max Breunig (1g,2a) generating the offense.
Six Nations wins handily, 20-8.

Six Nations got on the board when Thunder Hill converted a Brooker Muir pass going in all alone at 7:28, but an outside howitzer from Austin Shanks on the power-play off a Max Breunig pass at 8:13 tied the game.
The Rivermen regained the lead with Ross Hill grabbing a loose ball and scoring unassisted at 8:58, followed by Greg Elijah-Brown finishing an Anahalihs Doxtator pass 0:23 seconds later.
Six Nations continued the barrage with Thunder Hill catching the shortside off a Brooker Muir feed at 9:55, followed by David Anderson with a great individual effort unassisted at 13:41.
Zach Herreweyers got on the scoresheet finishing a Thunder Hill pass at 13:55, followed by Tyler Brown with an outside shot off a Thunder Hill pass at 16:02.
The Rivermen continued the onslaught with Brooker Muir converting a Mason Hill pass at 17:05,

Second Period:
Six Nations opened the second period scoring when Thunder Hill blasted a Ross Hill pass in at 6:18, but Austin Shanks answered for the Roadrunners on the power-play off a Lundyn Kups feed at 6:44.
Zach Herreweyers scored shorthanded for Six Nations off a Tyler Brown pass at 9:55, but on the same power-play Stepan Friedl scored off a Cody Laforme feed at 10:50.
Six Nations came back with Austin Blumbergs scoring from in close off a Thunder Hill pass at 11:17, but Vincent Cree scored a beauty from in close off a Bryce Dueck pass at 13:11 for the Roadrunners.
Thunder Hill scored his fourth of the game with a dive across the crease at 16:41, followed by Kessler Doolittle on a breakaway at 17:35 to increase the Rivermen lead.

Third Period:
Six Nations opened the third period scoring with a blast from Greg Elijah-Brown off a Ross Hill pass at 1:49, followed by Ross Hill scoring shorthanded off a Zach Herreweyers pass at 5:09 seconds.
Saskatchewan replied on the power-play with Lundyn Kups scoring to the shortside at 5:51, followed by Max Breunig converting an Austin Shanks pass also on the power-play at 7:12.
The Rivermen added another goal from in close when Thunder Hill finessed a David Anderson pass to the corner at 10:53, followed by an absolute howitzer from Tyler Brown off a Zach Herreweyers pass at 12:09.
The Rivermen added another when Davin Bomberry finished an Austin Blumbergs feed from the side of the net at 13:51, followed by Jacob Crans all alone in front off a Ty Logan pass at 15:29.
Stepan Friedl scored off an Austin Shanks feed at 17:45, followed by Vincent Cree off a Max Breunig pass at 18:23 for Saskatchewan.
Thr Rivermen scored once more with Ross Hill converting a Brooker Muir feed at 18:41.
