President's Cup Results - Day Three
The President's Cup continued Tuesday at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby, Ontario with four round robin games.
Snake Island Muskies 10 Edmonton Miners 3.
While the first period was a defensive struggle, Snake Island would put it in a other gear through the final two periods to win 10-3.
Led by Cam Acchione (3g 0a), Skkyler Thomas (2g,2a), and Landon Sinfield (2g,0a), the Muskies controlled the tempo and rhythm for the majority of the game.
For Edmonton, Connor Watson (1g,0a), Jake Bowen 1g,1a), and Ronin Pusch (1g,1a) were the offense sparks in the game.
Final score, Snake Island 10 Edmonton 3.

Allegany Arrows 13 Ladner Pioneers 6.
A close game out of the gate changed when Allegany's special teams got rolling. Two shorthanded goals, as well as a power-play marker helped get the Arrows the lead. Allegany rolled out to a 6-0 lead, never to look back.
In the third Ladner was able to get their offense going, but a strong defensive line from the Arrows kept the Puoneers from getting on a big run.
Allegany was led by Chris Cloutier (2g,3a), Chase Fraser (1g,3a), Zach Miller (3g,0a), Layne Smith (2g,1a), Kobe Whitcomb (2g,0a), and Josh Becker (2g,0a).
For Ladner, James Baker (2g,0a), Keegan Kozack (1g,2a), Braydon Bushnoe (1g,1a), Dylan Lacroix (1g,0a), and Edward McCann IV (1g,1a) were the scorers.
Gowah Abrams was exceptional in net for the Arrows in this game.
Allegany wins 13-6.

Six Nations Rivermen 20 Saskatchewan Roadrunners 8.
While Saskatchewan battled valiantly, the Six Nations Rivermen were just to powerful to contain for sixty minutes. Goalie Louden Choptuik was exceptional in net for Saskatchewan facing 79 shots in the game.
The Rivermen played a very sportsmanlike game with the Roadrunners throughout the affair.
Thunder Hill (5g,4a) led the way for the Rivermen, with Ross Hill (3g,4a), Zach Herreweyers (2g,3a), David Anderson (1g,3a), and Tyler Brown (2g,1a) also adding support.
For Saskatchewan Austin Shanks (2g,3a) led the way, with Stepan Friedl (2g 2a), Vincent Cree (2g,0a), Lundyn Kups (1g,2a), and Max Breunig (1g,2a) generating the offense.
Six Nations wins handily, 20-8.

Winnipeg Blizzard 9 Brooklin Merchants 14
Winnipeg played a spirited first period jumping out to 2-0 and 3-1 leads. Brooklin kept pushing scoring three quick unanswered goals to grab a 4-3 lead at the break.
The Merchants took over the game in the second period, controlling the tempo and flow of the game. Darren Elliott and Kellen Pulera added to the first period lead early on, setting the tone. Brooklin would go on to score seven goals in the period to take a stranglehold on the game.
The third period had Brooklin play keep away for the majority of the period, but to Winnipeg's credit they played tough the entire game. Brooklin came away the 14-9.
